Sales & Business Development Manager
Location: Kraków
Job description
Sales & BD manager is responsible for developing a sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues. He/she ensures that all the client's questions have been answered as fully as possible. Sales Manager is also the first point of contact for the client.
- Determines annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results
- Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs
- Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, supply and demand
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Review of information about demands and derivation of supply and proposal preparations
- Clarification of bid conditions and management of the tender preparation
- Monitoring of the bid management in order to ensure it is aligned with company's requirements
- Contribution in cost and price calculations
- Coordination of tender reviews and deadlines and adjust them to the frameworks given by the customers
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
Requirements
- Understanding the rules of Sales
- Understanding the RFP, deciding timelines and responsibilities
- Timely management of tender activities
- Review of drafts and effecting improvement
- Methodologies and executive summaries
- Quality control and procedures
- Obtaining feedback from purchasers when tenders are unsuccessful in order to improve in future
- Help with interviews and corresponding with purchasing authorities
- Give guidance with business and marketing development
- Provide insight and analyses of forthcoming opportunities, purchasers' mindsets, best practice and dealing with purchasers
- >7 Years of similar experiences
- Fluent in spoken and written English, further languages like French, Dutch, German, etc. are plus
- EPC experience in Solar energy or construction business
- Experience in Power sectors, conventional power plants or renewable energy power plants
- Familiar with transformers, Switchgear, protections, cabling and power conversion
- Engineering background is advantage
