Level 2 Technical Support Engineer

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person who has good knowledge of Citrix to join our Service Operations Team located at Skelia office in Kraków.
As a Level 2 Technical Support Engineer (Systems Administrator), you will ensure the Operational IT infrastructure is maintained at the highest standards. You will work with your IT colleagues and manufacturers on the development and revision of the IT system support strategies in order to ensure our SLA and system availability targets are met, and our Service Performance is brought to a higher level.
Mission
- Setting up and improving automatic monitoring systems
- Second line support for IT infrastructure issues (servers, network, storage, etc.)
- Troubleshooting and resolving incidents, problems, service requests in IT Operations
- Collaborating with 3rd line support
- Providing remote support in case of critical issues when on duty call
- Assisting in implementing new systems, projects or applications
- Building and documenting procedures, documentation etc.
- You’ll be preparing training for the 1st line and collaborate with managers to improve the processes
Requirements
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge and experience of Windows Server (2008R2, 2012) and MS services (AD, ADFS, PKI, GPM)
- Strong knowledge and experience of networking, layers (TCP/IP, VPN), firewalls and routers
- Strong knowledge of virtualization: VMWare, Hyper-V, Citrix, Load Balancers etc.
- Knowledge of SAN storage, data backup
- Understanding and managing of: DNS, DHCP, Failover Cluster, MS SQL Server, Group policies
- Familiarised with technologies and solutions: SharePoint, Exchange and MS System Center 2012 Suite (SCVMM, SCOM, SCCM)
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting or other scripting language is a plus
- Knowledge of Linux, Oracle is an asset
