Web Marketing Manager/ Web Programmer with Ruby on Rails experience

Job description:

Working as a Web Marketing Manager/ Web Programmer with Ruby on Rails you will be
responsible for the continued development and management of the organizations internet sites. Your key duties will include performing routine daily, weekly, and periodic major and minor updates of online images, messaging, promotions, tools, and functionality. Maintain website navigation to insure ease of updating, evaluating and tracking usage of websites, and recommending improvements to the sites to increase effectiveness, efficiency by using analysis and usage trends.

Develop and master online marketing initiative that enables exploitation of online tools and capabilities to drive sales. Manage the company´s internal social network site, monitoring content, functionality and driving new applications to keep the social community engaged. Oversee IT, working with our vendor partners to improve our shop cart, ensure technical functionality. Develop a social media strategy. Partner with Marketing and Sales, to distribute online education, promotions, rewards and incentives. Drive online efforts to support product launches, events, and online tools for the distributors to market the business opportunity, and products. Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with other departments and team members (design, sales content, product content, training content, consumer promotions, sales incentives, etc).

Key Functional Responsibilities

• Manage website functional and technical updates to improve usability and effectiveness
• Work with marketing, sales, creative, vendors, distributors/users, operational areas to promote and drive
• Manage, monitor, and report on web site visitor usage using web analytics.
• conversion of site visitors (both corporate site, and distributor sites) and registrants to customers.
• usage of key online products
• Manage technology support requests and production issues in a timely, communicative and effective manner.?

Requirements

• Practical knowledge of common hardware, software and network environments especially Ruby on Rails
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and preferably three to five years experience; experience working in marketing or web capacity preferred
• Two to three years of Project Management experience required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong service orientation
• Highly motivated self starter is a must
