The Group Risk Claims Specialist will be primarily responsible for managing our Group Income Protection managed claims services for some of our biggest clients. Everyday can be different in this role, from working with claimants, implementing, and suggesting ideas for improvement, learning about different medical conditions and working closely with insurers and their partners to benefit the client.
This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Krakow office.

As a Group Risk Claims Specialist some of your key responsibilities will involve:
- Ensure the smooth running of assigned Group Income Protection claims managed clients
- Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day enquiries from clients, claimants’ providers, and other sources
- Independently respond to queries from clients, claimants, and providers in a pro-active manner
- Resolve any identified discrepancies in provider documentation before sending to clients
- Ensure that any correspondence produced or issued by Aon is accurate and adheres to any published brand guidelines
- Maintain updated and accurate client records and ensure data in line with Aon systems and protocols
- Understand and comply with the financial & industry regulations and legislations
- Build good working relationships with Aon colleagues from all parts of the business
- Provide a proactive professional telephone handling service for both internal and external contacts, including clients, claimants, providers, and Aon colleagues
- Confident communicator with both colleagues and clients at all levels of organisation with English C1 level
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and proactively using own initiative
- Skilled at building positive relationships with an ability to manage numerous stakeholders.
- Excellent listening, organisation, and presentation skills
- Willingness to learn and share knowledge.
- Ability to adapt to change
- Proficient in Microsoft applications including excel
- Highly skilled in liaising with insurers and talking to clients and claimants
- Knowledge of Group Risk industry (nice to have)
- Experience of dealing with claims (nice to have)
