Requirements:
- Reconciliations experience, specifically with large data sets
- Working in a Regulatory/ Middle Office environment
- Microsoft Excel skills (Intermediate/Advanced level)
- University degree – analytical degree an advantage
- Experience of: the control function, the retail derivatives industry, identifying and driving improvements to pre-existing processes
- Showing initiative in identifying problems and posing solutions
- Challenging mindset, uses training and experience to identify the need for change/improvement
- Excellent administration and communication skills
- Attention to detail; meeting regular deadlines; taking ownership of assigned responsibilities
- Proactive attitude in researching and resolving problems/issues
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment

- Proven abilities for attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of using a Bloomberg terminal
- MiFID / EMIR Transaction Reporting knowledge would be an advantage
Responsibilities:
- Submitting transaction reports to regulators in a timely manner
- Investigate and assist with daily transaction exceptions or regulatory rejections
- Carrying out controls to ensure reports are complete and accurate
- Reconciling and comparing large data sets, picking up on differences and takes a proactive approach
- Developing relationships with internal stakeholders, including Compliance (who will provide oversight and sounding board for advice), Trading desks (for querying trade bookings and mismatched), and Account opening (to ensure client data is correctly stored)
- Dealing with unmatched transactions by liaising with external counterparties and/or internal staff
- Prepare monthly management reports
- Providing general support to the Middle Office Team Leader
- Maintaining procedure and policy documentation
- Ad hoc analysis for changes in regulations
