Zadania:
The role is responsible for planning, allocating resources, and ensuring high quality software releases with challenging project deadlines. Motivation and Line Management to be included the role description
Role:
- Team management including regular one-to-one catch-ups, team meetings, goal and objective setting, conducting performance reviews, mentoring, team motivation & leadership;
- Define the Test Strategy to be followed during projects;
- Plan, resource and allocate resources to projects;
- Track Team test tasks and activities and ensure milestones targets are achieved to plan;
- Provide support, input and advice to the Client Test Leads/Test Team as required;
- Leads to ensure adherence to quality during the development and testing stages Liaise with the Project Manager and Development Lead;
- Review Requirements Documentation & Specifications;
- Ensure Test Scripts and Test Cases created are reviewed and maintained based on the approved Requirements & Solution Specifications and that clearly define and verify the usability and acceptability of software;
- Facilitate, develop, execute and maintain automated test scripts based on the project requirements;
- Ensure Test scripts and test cases are correctly executed according to industry best practice and to the agreed timelines;
- Provide Test Summary & Exit Reports to Project Manager and to Client Leads;
- Provide regular Test status reports to the Test Manager;
- Facilitate, identify and implement improvements that enhance the Test Process and improve overall Quality Assurance process.
- Strong, proven experience in a senior or lead Test role;
- Experience as a people manager preferable;
- Fluency in verbal and written English essential;
- Insurance business experience a distinct advantage;
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and Project;
- ISTQB or an equivalent qualification is desirable;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience of working directly with Client Leads;
- Good knowledge of automated testing and experience of using open source automation test tools (e.g. Selenium) is desirable;
- Working knowledge of Relational databases (e.g. Oracle, DB2 or SQL Server) and an ability to write and run SQL queries as part of test verification;
- Strong Test Analysis/Investigative skills;
- Ability to multi task, use own initiative and work to tight deadlines;
- Ability to proactively work within dynamic environment;
- Flexibility and willingness to travel to client sites when necessary;
