Technical tester (REST APIs)

This role requires testing of REST APIs. You will be responsible for writing test plans for these REST APIs and executing them via automation.

Automation frameworks are available, but you may be required to extend the frameworks or write wrappers in order to test some APIs.

You will need to manage your code and test cases in source control and track bugs in client´s internal bug tracking system.

Your code and tests will need to be written in a scripting or high-level language like Python or Java respectively.

You will be writing bugs for all issues you encounter and communicate those with the lead Test Engineer and Development counterparts.

Key skill include, strong in Python and UNIX.

One to three years experience in API or WebService Testing. Strong communication skills and documentation skills.
