Opportunity for a Technical Support Engineer to join Honeywell Building Technologies in Katowice during this exciting time of expansion for our business. As a member of the Technical Support team, you will provide technical support and service to both internal and external customers on product selection, application, as well as associated standard and regulation related queries.
The Role / Core responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve performance targets of the helpline and incoming customer e-mails
- Involvement in producing and presenting product related and technical training material for the customer
- Log and investigate customer complaints through testing and inspection of product, liaising with internal departments to ensure resolution
- Assist with proof reading technical documentation such as instruction leaflets, marketing material and brochures
- Develop self-learning tools as tech support training aids
- Administration of non-catalogue spare parts and obsolete products procedures
- Completion of assigned training modules Keeping up to date with industry standards and regulations
- Maintaining complete and accurate records for all activities

We’re looking for
- Bachelor Degree in technical field (or equivalent education or experience in similar roles)
- Business fluent in written and spoken Dutch (C1 level) and English
- Formal electrotechnical qualifications, these are preferred but demonstrable experience in this field along with a proven ability to learn will be considered
- Electrical installation skills and knowledge of related regulations and standards
- Customer facing experience (sales, administration, support) and the ability to communicate with customers at all levels to enhance and add value to our service
- Computer literate, familiarity with Microsoft programmes
