Dalkia Enerji Turkey signed an Operations and Maintenance Contract of 10 years for a thermal Power plant in Zonguldak in Turkey. The Power plant is a coal fired power plant, with CFB boiler and has a 160 MW capacity - about 95 employees working on the plant.
Dalkia Enerji is also involved in similar projects throughout Turkey.

Key Responsibilities:
The Technical Manager reports to the Power Plant Manager and assists him for all technical aspects.
His duties include:
- controlling, monitoring and technically evaluating the plant Operations and Maintenance activities
- proposing technical solutions for plant operation and maintenance improvement, plant modification, technology improvement
- controlling and evaluating the planning activities for all plant departments, coordinating long-term and regular operation and maintenance programs and schedules
- permanently ensuring that mechanical, electrical and C & I activities are provided with relevant procedures and instructions, with defined time schedule and targets, in line with supplier's O & M Manuals
- member of the power plant Environmental, Health and Safety committee, promoting safe work practices
- maintaining a permanent link with Dalkia Corporate Engineering Departments in France for know-how transfer and implementation in Zonguldak
- leading, supervising, counsel a team of 8 persons
Profile:
- Engineer (mechanical, electrical, C & I or power generation engineering) with at least 10 -15 years of experience in a steam coal fire plant (preferable having CFB boiler)
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of power plant operations and maintenance
- In depth knowledge of Design Administration procedures, CAD or similar design software usage
- Knowledge of maintenance plan and related budget
- Good knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety standards, regulations and practices
- Relevant experience in Staff management
- Skills in trouble shooting
- Operational English Level (French is a plus)
