The GDC Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist, reporting to the GDC HR lead, will be accountable for driving the deployment of SABMiller GBS TA strategy to support current and future business requirements as well as effective TA process delivery.
The incumbent will work collaboratively with the GDC HR Lead to anticipate and meet business needs, whilst also ensuring the application and localisation of Global GBS TA framework, tools and solutions where necessary.
He/She will support the implementation of the desired culture and people agenda within GBS to support GBS Employee Value Proposition
Outputs and Accountabilities
• Support deployment of the SABMiller GBS TA strategy to support current and future business requirements and drive effective TA process delivery
• Work collaboratively with the HR Lead and Line Managers across GDC Krakow to anticipate and meet current and future business resource needs (internal and external)
• Maintain SABMiller GBS TA process and Tools, Preferred Supplier List and agreeing / monitoring third party contractual arrangements etc to enable effective and timely service delivery
• Agree sourcing methodology/ approach with managers and HR Lead aligned to vacancies / talent pipeline needs and initiate and manage appropriate TA activities to generate suitable candidates to meet resource needs
• Plan and manage the end to end TA process to ensure the effective and timely appointment of candidates to meet customer requirements and the maintenance of good TA practise including
o confirmation of TA demand
o summarising the agreed sourcing plan
o confirming vacancy requirements
o communicating the plan and requirements to 3d party if appropriate or streamlining direct search based on the requirements
o supporting line managers through the selection process
o coordinating assessments
o managing feedback consolidation and candidate feedback
• Maintain effective controls and governance within the TA process to ensure internal standards and legislative requirements are complied with
• Act as a custodian of SABMiller GBS TA framework and provide TA expertise and coaching to Hiring managers and HR colleagues to ensure they have the capability to deliver / support TA processes
• Coordinate Global psychometric assessments for leadership level candidates (scheduling assessments with external/internal psychologist and feedback delivery)
• Be accountable for assessment administration, interpretation and storage for Middle Management level roles and below in line with SABMiller GBS requirements and local legislation
• Maintain applicant/ candidate database
• Support the implementation of the GDC employee value proposition
• Coordinate TA projects with local Universities and Colleges
• Ensure that regular reporting requirements are adhered to and KPI reports are produced for the GBS/GDC leadership
Competence Requirements
Knowledge, Experience and Professional Qualifications Required
The candidate will be able to demonstrate the following knowledge and experience:
• University Degree is desirable (degree in psychology is preferred)
• Experience of working in TA, including significant knowledge and experience in best practice recruitment research, experience of cold calling candidates, experience in active headhunting or recent in-house Talent Acquisition experience in a similar organisation - essential
• A strong commercial aptitude with a thorough understanding of the Business Services industry desirable
• Experience of coaching leaders and managers essential
• Good written and numerical skills, strong PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet) essential
• Problem Solving – ability to identify the root cause of issues and apply effective problem solving skills essential
• Experience of building strong relationships with diverse stakeholder groups including Function heads, managers, HR specialists, and third parties essential
• Experience of managing and deploying in house TA processes is desired
• Good knowledge of UK laws/regulations relating to recruitment and selection and the TA field - essential
• Experience of using social networking tools (i.e. Linked In, Xing etc) to directly source candidates, knowledge and proficiency in utilising applicant tracking software – essential
