We are looking for an SDET II with a positive 'can do' attitude that can provide leadership & deal effectively with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment. This position will require the ability to influence peers in development and program management inside and outside your immediate team across other team in market and back to corp in Seattle. As a SDET II on our team you will be focused on driving our test automation effort, working with SDETs across the team to build up our test automation and infrastructure in order to improve our test efficiencies. You will also provide feedback on product design and user scenarios to ensure testability, evaluating and improving the integration test coverage for areas to continually look for ways to raise our product quality and ultimately result in building new innovative experiences that engage our users around the world. Purpose :
- Develop the required Test frameworks and tools which deliver genuine business value.
- Lead the test effort in implementation of a scalable, efficient test automation strategy. Work closely with program management and development to deliver quality online solutions on schedule.
- Drive test strategy and quality standards. Analyse patterns of defects and devise ways to prevent them.
- Regularly drive improvements in our process and tooling, leading to higher efficiency and product quality. Represent Test function in multi-discipline teams.
- Thoroughly understand the new product features being implemented in sprints and be able to produce test designs and test cases for the product areas involved. Develop the required Test frameworks and tools which deliver genuine business value.

Requirements should include:
- Experience leading and building test automation framework leveraged across multiple feature teams.
- Experienced Developer / SDET with a track record of achieving success in a high-paced, growth-oriented business environment where capabilities are continually stretched.
- An analytical approach that can look beyond the immediate to identify weaknesses and opportunities.
- Highly persuasive – can present and defend a technical argument to team members and management
- Proven track record of delivering quality software on schedule over multiple product cycles. Experience developing high quality test plan and driving test strategy - ability to highlight inefficiencies within test strategies & provides solutions.
- Strong communicator and works well across teams.
- Team lead and offshore vendor management experience are strongly desired.
- At least 5 years' experience designing, implementing and shipping complex web orientated applications through several releases.
Technical / Functional Skills
- Excellent coding (C#) and object-oriented design skills.
- Extensive experience with internal and external test tools.
- Expertise in building and testing web applications using a wide variety of technologies – JavaScript, CSS, Web Services, ASP.NET.
- Ability/willingness to learn new technologies. Experience leading and building test automation framework leveraged across multiple feature teams.
- Experienced Developer / SDET with a track record of achieving success in a high-paced, growth-oriented business environment where capabilities are continually stretched.
- An analytical approach that can look beyond the immediate to identify weaknesses and opportunities.
