The Engineering Design Center (EDC) is one of GE Infrastructure global engineering sites, created in 2000 based on an Engineering Alliance Agreement between GE Aircraft Engines and Warsaw Institute of Aviation. EDC consists of two companies: GE Company Polska Ltd. and Warsaw Institute of Aviation. Currently EDC is working on the products of three GE Infrastructure businesses: GE Aviation, GE Energy, GE Oil&Gas. www.edcpolska.pl

Opis stanowiska

- Six Sigma Black Belt is a critical position within the Energy Engineering Division (EED) Quality Organization. As a Black Belt in the Global Quality part of the organization, you will be responsible for driving focused Quality improvement projects that are aligned with Goals & Objectives of the Engineering Design Center in Warsaw and Global Centers within EED. You will be executing project scope tied to the broader business objectives contributing to a global, cohesive focus and leading Green Belts certification. Effective interfacing with the Global Centers and the different EED organizations is critical to success in this role.

- Responsibilities:- reporting to the EDC-Energy Manager and to the Global QL for EED- work with GE Energy Businesses and customers to understand their needs, and use data to drive improvements in responsiveness and overall quality of deliverables- utilize Lean Six Sigma tools to drive projects to realize improvements and implement best practices- provide support and coordination to teams in education, scheduling and identifying key improvement areas- mentor Green Belt projects across the energy team by providing expertise and leadership- obtain Black Belt Certification through appropriate training, testing, mentoring, and project execution

Wymagania

- master's degree in an engineering discipline- experience in applying statistical tools to Process Improvements and Quality projects- proven team leadership skills; ability to effectively influence and motivate others- substantial functional experience with successful track record of results- ability to work effectively with all levels of organization- quantitative and analytical skills, statistically literate and familiar with Lean Six Sigma quality concepts and tools
