This ServiceNow Consultant role is to assist in implementation of Service Management and Service Integration and Management solutions to support our existing and prospective clients.
In collaboration with Service Integration and Management consultants, will assist clients in the implementation of IT Service Management practices based on Capgemini and industry standards.
The role requires thorough ServiceNow tool knowledge and understanding of implications and accountabilities in wider context within the customer organization.
- Create technical best practices to enable delivery, efficiency and quality of services
- Assist with technical challenges across a portfolio of projects
- Configuration and customization of ServiceNow
- Development of required client specific reporting
- Development of required integration components
- Prepare technology related client facing and internal deliverables
- Communicate with co-workers, peers, and management through written and verbal communication
- Communicate with customers, internal departments, and other outside parties in a professional manner
- Possess and present customer service attitude
- Demonstrable (at least 6 months) experience with ServiceNow platform navigation, administration, configuration, and scripting
- ServiceNow System Administration (or higher) certifications desired
- Previous experience in administration and configuration of other ITSM Tools is a plus (Remedy, BMC Magic, etc.)
- Background in either software development or IT Service management
- ITIL® Certified – Intermediate or higher level
- Understanding of Agile based approach to software development (SCRUM experience is a plus)
- Java Scripting knowledge (Service Now Scripting certificate is a plus)
- Ability to work remotely and largely unsupervised, and to deliver to written requirements
- Ability to work with a remote team, requiring ability to communicate well via phone and email (writing skills)
- Understanding of relational database concepts
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent command of English language
- Readiness for business travel (up to 50% travelling abroad)
