Inviting applications for the role of a Service Optimization Specialist
Responsible for ensuring consistent/perfect service to our customers by initiating solutions for short- and mid-term supply challenges. Being a complexity champion, SOS uses continuous improvement and digital solutions to step-up business delivery. The SOS works agile across categories. (Short-term Supply Review; Proactive Stock Allocation (DE); Frozen Period Crisis Management; Stock Allocation (DE+AT); Repack Execution; Validate Input, Analyse Risk and Generate STO; Evaluate / Redesign Distribution Network)
Responsibilities
- Quick resolution of cross-functional short & mid-term issues with market teams and Product Flow Orchestrator - Service risk identification and drive short term mitigation: Discuss issues and constraints with Customer Experience Team, Logistics Tower (allocation and transportation) team, Logistics planning team and the DC team and/ or raise ticket in Pega and collaborate with Product Flow Orchestrator on solution
- Quick resolution of cross-functional short & mid-term issues with market teams and Product Flow Orchestrator - Provide feedback to market team(s) on service risks & mitigation status
- Accountable for managing supply on time in full
- Ensures full information flow on relevant execution topics to Category Expert on service risks in an efficient and proactive way
- Ensures availability of all relevant information for customer communication
- Work with Repack teams, local warehouses, and external re-packers to gather constraints and create repack production plans
- Inter DC stock balancing
- Takes on service optimization tasks in an agile manner across categories based on needs
- Supports proactively in continuous improvements
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
- Strong communication in English – both oral and written skills min. B2
- Ability to communicate efficiently with all levels of management and peers,
- Experience in areas such as production scheduling, inventory management or supply/operations planning is preferred
- Strong process development, improvement and implementation experience
- Self-motivated and independent personality with strong negotiation & problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of supply chain and supply planning business drivers, organization structures and key metrics
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of ERP systems like SAP (Specific knowledge of SAP aATP module will be advantageous)
- Self-motivated and independent personality with strong negotiation & problem-solving skills as well as a strongly developed proposal thinking mindset
- Understanding of business and local market specifics when applicable
