Within Credit Risk IT, the User Interface development team focuses on the user interaction systems, rather than data or complex calculation. Working within an established team structure the candidate will be responsible for developing UI components across any of 4 (currently) applications built on a UI Framework, also owned within the team. While primarily development focused the role includes participation in all areas of the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and analysis through to testing and implementation.
The team currently work with 3 different types of apps;
The first the Credit Risk Officer UI (Iris), an application intended to serve nearly all the CO's needs for their job. It covers structured, numeric and visual information to work with. It is a highly modularized UI being delivered over a multi-year program to deliver an industry leading application with a high-level of innovation and user experience.
The second are the NBI / OBI applications (currently numbering 3), which are workflow applications containing semi-structured and document data to support Business Initiative approval (or otherwise) within UBS group.
The third is a UI framework that is used as the platform for building the other 2 area's and in several other applications / departments within the bank.
All are built on top of WPF, PRISM and Microsoft Enterprise Application Blocks.
The team work using modern software development process, tools and skills; including automated testing (unit, integration and functional), continuous integration, code analytics and review, 2 weekly sprints (organized across the department).
