Your challenge:
Excellent opportunity for senior supply chain executives with supply planning experience. Your goal is to deliver outstanding customer service levels with minimal inventory, airfreight, provisions and write-off costs for the European Philips Lighting market. You will do this by actively improving the entire supply chain from factories to local markets by developing team capabilities, processes and tools.
We are currently looking for Senior Director Finished Goods Inventory Planning
Your responsibilities:
In this highly demanding role, your tasks are two-fold:
Firstly, you will manage the planning teams throughout Europe (10 direct, 50 indirect reports) for Philips Lighting’s finished goods portfolio Europe (approx. €2.3 bln sales). Your responsibilities include KPI’s such as customer service levels, finished Goods inventory levels, airfreight spend, provisions, and inventory allocation.
Secondly, you will be a driving factor in the transformation of the planning discipline towards true business partnering. You will do this through an increased pro-active mindset (vs. firefighting) and working closely with suppliers/plants and markets. Planning is seen as a key function within the Supply Chain with the capability to actively drive and steer the supply chain. The aim is to develop the full potential of this function.
Your team:
You will be part of the commercial operations team in Philips Lighting’s market group Europe, reporting to the head of Commercial Supply Chain Europe. Functions reporting to you are team leads finished goods planning, business process owner finished goods inventory management, business analyst, team lead central orderdesk.
This position is based in Eindhoven - The Netherlands or Pila, Poland and entails approx. 25% of travel in Europe.

We are looking for:
To be successful in this role, you require at least 15 years of experience in Supply Chain roles combined with a results driven and customer focused personality. Experience with planning processes and improvements in high volume environments (e.g. FMCG, Automotive) is a must have. Functional experience in the area of finished goods inventory management, S&OP processes, and demand and supply planning.
