Role and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Senior Customer Support Engineer (CSE); the connection to Cisco customers and builds effective working relationships while solving their issues, managing expectations, and leaving the customer feeling valued.
A successful Senior CSE:
• Provides advanced technical consultation to other team members
• Acts as a technical expert in his/her domain of expertise with other team members as well as other Cisco world-wide teams
• Independently debugs complex product problems and effectively supports critical account customers
• Leverages existing resources and his/her own technical and customer relationship skills to provide problems resolution with a high level of customer satisfaction
• Provides systems/product training and identifies improvement opportunities and recommendations in products and processes
• Keeps up-to-date with the latest technology products in his area of expertise in order to provide a high quality support in current and future types of support services
Minimum Qualifications required:
● Commitment and ability to resolve complex technical problems, multitask, and be dedicated to customer success
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Extensive experience interacting with enterprise customers
• Passion and demonstrated ability to learn and work in a multicultural team environment
● Extensive troubleshooting experience using protocol analysers
● Programming skills (Python, Ruby, Java etc)
• 2-3 years related experience in involving customer exposure element in Security Technologies (Firewall, VPN, IDS, AAA, Linux)
• 3 - 5 years related experience in involving customer exposure element in Security technologies
Nice to have:
• Bachelor"s or Master's degree in engineering (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering)
• CCIE or CCNP certification desired (or equivalent level and knowledge) in one of the above listed technologies
• Other technology (Security, Cloud, DataCenter, Compliance etc) or product knowledge, experience or certifications would be a plus
• Ability to drive to achieve goals with limited supervision
• Proven crisis management skills and ability to drive to resolution
