"Senior Application Developer (SAP)"

Major duties and responsibilities
- Design and deliver ABAP programming for an enterprise-wide ECC 6.0 & S/4HANA release.
- Construct efficient and effective code through dialog programming, ALV reports, ALE, BAPIs, SAP Fiori for mobile devices & PCs.
- Lead effort to research, plan, and transition to SAP HANA.
- Research, review, and develop required skills for emerging technologies.
- Use coding standards to optimize performance and maintain version control.
- Utilize test driven development to deploy incremental functionality improvements.
- Participate in discussions with key business users in order to understand requirements, clarify and define problems, propose and design solutions, and ultimately deliver an effective operational solution.
- Act as technical subject matter expert, including the ability to provide in-depth application support to internal/external project team members.
- Understand and anticipate critical business and information technology risks, issues, and roadblocks.
- Provide high quality documentation, as well as other written or verbal communications as required.
- Assist in development of object specific training material and conduct all levels of training (user, support, etc.)
- Work with team members to ensure user acceptance for each release.
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English (level B2)
- Solid foundation in data structures and algorithms
- In-depth understanding of SAP solutions, including, but not limited to, S/4HANA, ABAP, Fiori, Cloud Platform Integration Services, CDS View, and ODATA
- Ability to create software using TDD approach
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies a plus
- Ability to deliver against several initiatives simultaneously
- Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
- Excellent time management practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities
- At least 6 years of professional experience in ABAP/SAP developments
