In the frame of new challenging projects in several European countries, we are searching for motivated people to fill the position of SAP Basis Administrator in our Brno team.
An ideal candidate must have 18 - 24 months of experience supporting SAP R/3 at version 3.1H or higher, preferably on a UNIX platform. In addition, the candidate must be able to demonstrate that he has the practical hands-on.
Responsibilities:
Activities include installations, kernel upgrades, patching, daily monitoring (background jobs, RFC connections, ABAP dumps, system logs, updates...), user and roles administration, printer administration, homogenous and heterogeneous copies, client copies, tuning, backup administration.
Requirements:
- To install, configure and upgrade SAP R/3 on a UNIX platform;
- Backup and Recovery strategy from the view of understanding what is critical to the operating of a SAP R/3 system;
- Experience in day to day SAP BASIS administration;
- Problem Determination;
- Performance Monitoring;
- Knowledge on configuration, implementation and administration of any of the following areas:
- Middleware support experience (MQ Series, MQSI, MQ Clustering, r3link)
- Basic understanding of AIX, HP-UX, Sun Solaris, MS Windows Server family (e.g. storage, spool)
- Operational DBA support: DB2, Oracle
- SAP Business Warehouse admin
Other Requirements:
- Communication skills, teamwork skills;
- Customer and service orientation;
- Good written and verbal English, additional foreign language is an advantage
