Zakres obowiązków:
The Regional EHS Manager, EMEA will be leading & directing robust health, safety and environmental activities for EMEA facilities. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that the company's practices comply with all regulatory and other requirements, and providing consultation to site Management to foster continuous improvement toward health, safety and environmental excellence.
This role will report to the Global EHS Director and also dotted reporting line to the President of EMEA and will be based in any of the Motorparts Manufacturing facilities in Poland (Silesia).
- Manage communication to EHS network for EMEA
- Monitor key indicators for EHS for EMEA in order to help detect/prevent deterioration in the field
- Provide support to sites for investigation and corrective actions in case of:
Amputation / Severe injury incidents
3rd parties EHS audit
Ongoing EHS surveillance
- When required, for “ad hoc” needs
provide support to plant EHS managers for establishing and maintaining safety & environmental management systems in conformance to ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certification
provide support and assistance to plants with completion of risk assessments and development of preventive measures to reduce identified risk
contribute to the definition and presentation of EHS training that is centrally defined
- Provide HSE support on new site development
- Keep current with EHS regulations and emerging EHS issues / risks
- Drive best practices, equipment standardization, controls, visual safety management, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental, health & safety or related field.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in manufacturing, 3 years providing EHS leadership to multiple sites with preference to automotive related manufacturing.
- Must be certified and maintain good knowledge of EHS as required by government regulations
- Proven track record of working “hands on” with plant locations to facilitate improvements to safety/environment performance.
- Strong safety background, including demonstrated expertise in machine guarding, ergonomics, electrical safety, risk assessment and behavior based safety.
- Experience with establishing and maintaining EHS management systems in conformance to ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001 standards.
- Good oral, written and presentation skills.
- Prior experience with conducting safety risk assessments and safety training.
- Strategic and creative thinker with ability to develop actionable programs that integrates soundly with business objectives.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and deal with rapidly changing priorities.
- Ability to interact with all levels of management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; enthusiastic, team player and self-starter.
- Strong computer skills and experience using MS Office and web-based software system.
- Prior experience with management system design for world class status in safety.
- Fluent spoken and written English required
