For one of our client, we are currently looking for Candidates for the role of:
ROLE:
The missions of the chosen candidate are multiple and transversal. Reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer, he or she is responsible for:
- Monitoring the Risk profile evolution and informing CRO (Chief Risk Officer)
- Provide a dynamic analysis of the Risk profile
- Ensure the consistency of the Experts setting with the Risk profile of the country
- Perform portfolio analysis at local level (including Risk concentration analysis, volatility analysis, stress-tests)
- Implement and maintain Asset Risk processes and policies
- Anticipate emerging Risks by following early warning indicators
- Produce risk reporting, market & credit risk studies in order to monitor and to anticipate emerging risks
- Evaluating, mitigating and controlling Asset Risk (i.e. Market Risk and Valuation Risk)
- Ensuring the effective execution of 2nd level Risk controls
REQUIREMENTS:
- University degree (MA/MSc preferred in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics or other related fields)
- 2 – 5 years of professional experience within risk management, preferably in an international environment
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills is a must
- Problem-solving skills; Ability to challenge the proposed methodologies and willingness to provide alternative solutions
- Outstanding analytical skills and professional knowledge of MS Office, fluency in MS Excel / VBA is required, knowledge of SAS will be a strong asset
- Experience in working with large and complex data sets
- A strong interest and familiarity with risk management best practices
- Excellent communication and team-work skills (face to face/ in a group/ remote/ real-time)
- Ability to build and maintain an effective business relationship (inside and outside the company)
- Creativity in searching for new solutions, willingness to know more
- Ability to analyze and synthesize information
