Quality Engineer
Location: Dania, Nakskov
Job description
On behalf of our client we are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer Lead with knowledge and expertise within areas of quality processes in a manufacturing environment and furthermore desire to take responsibility for ensuring that production methods deliver consistently high quality output at the clients new blades production facility.
You will work very closely with the factory management team reporting to the Quality Manager. In addition you will cooperate across the Quality organisation in a fast growing business.

Responsibilities and tasks
The Quality Engineer will be responsible for the implementation of our clients Management System.
Your main responsibilities will be Implementation of Quality methods in the production process:
- Ensuring identification of critical issues prioritizing improvement projects.
- Implementing and maintaining the Management System.
- Reporting Quality performance used for initiating improvement activities.
- Planning,initiating and coordinating continuous improvement activities based on CAPA methods.
- Involvement in the ISO 9001 certification processes.
- Involvement in internal audit.
- Handling Non-Conforming products.
- Follow up on quality matters in general.
- Ensure proper reporting as part of the continuous quality improvement.
- Review of documentation before shipment to customers.
Requirements
Qualifications and work experience
The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in a quality engineer role in a manufacturing environment with experience of working with chemical and mechanical processes.
Understanding of audit process at minimum ISO 9001, if possible also ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
Experience in implementation of QMS according to ISO 9001. Definition of Quality KPI. Six sigma experience (minimumGreen Belt). Lean experience (minimum Green Belt).
Competencies
The candidate should master strong communication skills with fluent English (written and oral) and be comfortable communicating to all levels in the organisation.
You have the ability to navigate with sensitivity across different cultures in a dynamic and international environment with many interfaces. It is inevitable to be a team player and one must comprehend working in line- and matrix organizations. Lastly, the attention to detail is essential.
