Our client is a renowned, international company specializing in the design, development and manufacturing for the aviation market. Currently, on behalf of this company we are looking for experienced candidates for the position:
Quality Engineer

Zadania:
- Reporting to the Quality Manager
- The Quality Engineer will be responsible for the activities which support the continued compliance with all company policies and procedures and help to drive continuous improvement activities.
- Manage and drive continuous improvement projects / activities within the business using quality tools (e.g. SPC, Pareto analysis, cause & effect diagrams etc.) as required.
- Liaise with the inspection team leader to assist with the training and development of the inspection personnel.
- Conduct Internal Audits across the business, in line with the Annual Audit Schedule of Product, Process and Systems.
- Conduct independent Human Factors / miscellaneous investigations, RCCA’s using 8D methodology, as they arise across the business.
- Promote Company Initiatives across the business from a Quality perspective.
- Act as Quality System (QMS) Advisor to various departments, providing advice and training as required.
- Compile and submit first article inspection reports in line with customer requirements.
- Work closely with the engineering department providing advice and guidance regarding new product introduction to ensure customer and product specifications are applied and approve inspection plans.
- Promote and drive 6S / lean manufacturing throughout the facility.
- Experience of working both individually and in a team environment under time and resource pressures to achieve deadlines and meet objectives.
- Computer literate with MS packages, with ability to create spreadsheets and detailed reports
- Qualified auditor with proven experience within the aerospace industry an advantage.
- Knowledge / Understanding of AS9100 essential
- CMM programming / operation experience desirable.
- Experience in quality systems including process controls and process validation and complaint handling
- Knowledge / experience with non-destructive testing specifically FPI & MPI preferable.
- Proven experience of good interpersonal and communication skills when dealing with colleagues
- Must be methodical and meticulous, with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong project management / organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and tasks
- Ability to perform data analysis and present information and respond to questions with confidence
