Quality Assurance Audit Senior Specialist
Main responsibilities:
- Update and execute on process improvements in the quality assurance area to improve productivity and efficiency
- Perform an internal audit type of review on pre-defined controls that have direct and significant impact on transaction reporting
- Document investigations and findings in a professional and concise manner
- Support the regional management in order to ensure that the company is executing transaction reporting responsibilities in a sustainable and high-quality manner that meets the expectations of regulators
- Cooperate with various quality assurance teams located in the UK and US
- Make sure that transaction reporting regulations across various jurisdictions are understood and adhered to
- Check that material issues and reputation concerns are escalated appropriately in accordance to the internal escalation policy
- Stay up-to-date on regulatory requirements and trends
- Collaborate with various partners across the firm, such as Integrated Middle Office, Regulatory Reporting Teams, Data Management, Change, IT and Compliance
Requirements:
- 2 or 3+ years of experience within financial industry or professional services within international environment (i.e. financial audit, financial instruments, compliance)
- A professional experience gained within banking industry would be an asset
- Excellent English skills, both spoken and written – C1 or strong B2 level
- University degree, preferably in Finance / Economics / Business Management/ Banking
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Very good interpersonal and communication skills
- Open attitude to team work environment
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Strong coordination and management abilities to build and maintain good working with stakeholders
- Knowledge of financial instruments or investments bank products/ trade lifecycle and trade booking models would be a strong asset
