For our Client, production company  we are searching for a Candidate for a position of:

Purchasing Manager

Requirements:

  • University degree: economy, technical
  • Experience on managerial position in international industrial Procurement organization
  • Very good managerial and team leading skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong project management and interpersonal skills
  • Negotiation and problem solving skills

Responsibilities:

  • Leading Purchasing tasks, activities, targets and strategy  for  all Polish locations
  • Managing Purchasing team in Poland, including disciplinary lead for assigned members of corporate procurement located in Poland, develops skills and qualifications of the team members
  • Purchasing Manager together with team is a part of global procurement organization
  • According to the requirements of original procurement organization, Purchasing Manager may take responsibility beyond  Polish operations on regional or  global level
  • Purchasing Manager is responsible for setting targets/ KPI together with Polish board and Client’s  Automotive procurement lead
  • Purchasing Manager is responsible for achieving these targets / KPI
  • Developing an organization’s purchasing strategy
  • Working on business plans as well as calculating costs for new programs, new locations, identifying potential suppliers, visiting existing suppliers, and building and maintaining good relationships with them;
  • Ensuring suppliers are aware of business objectives
  • Negotiating and agreeing contracts and monitoring their progress, checking the quality of service provided;
  • Forecasting price trends and their impact on future activities;
  • Conducting research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality
  • Giving presentations about market analysis and possible growth
  • Forecasting levels of demand for services and products to meet the business needs and keeping a constant check on stock levels
  • Keeping contract files and using them as reference for the future
  • Producing reports and statistics using computer software
  • Attending meetings and trade conferences
