Job description:
- Position involves preparation of tenders, budgets, coordination and management of projects. The Project Manager will manage a team of about 10 expat managers and local workers. He will be responsible for the whole project including:
- Terms of contract management, claims, working programs, equipment, mobilization prepares schedules
- Cost and payments control
- Ensures Quality Assurance
- Preparation of bills and execution of project
- Selection of subcontractors and suppliers, conducts negotiations and prepares agreements and contracts
- Reporting to superiors and working in compliance with Company Procedures
- Master Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Engineering or relevant
- Min. 3 years on similar position, experience within an international environment especially in Africa will be an asset
- Experience in managing execution of infrastructure projects (roads, building and water project)
- Fluent English
- Ability to organize and improvise, leadership, taking responsibility
- Ability to make decisions, cope with pressures and determination
- Acceptance of min. 2 year contract abroad
