Production /Process Engineer
Location: Dania, Nakskov
Job description
On behalf of our Client we are looking for an experienced Production/Process Engineer Lead with knowledge and expertise within areas of delivering a stable and repeatable blade manufacturing process. The role includes managing process trials, driving 6-Sigma methodologies and incorporating cost out activities within the project.
A track record in manufacturing large composite structures using Resin Infusion technologies is essential. You will have the opportunity to develop a career in an international company within an exciting industry.
Responsibilities and tasks
The PE engineer will be responsible for delivering a stable production process and for identifying opportunities for Takt Time reduction.
Your main responsibilities will be

Delivery of stable and repeatable processes with supporting documentation (FMEAs, Technical Reports, HS&E documentation, work instructions etc).

Support Department Leads and production operatives in delivering stable and capable composite processing solutions.

Work with Quality department on identification of critical issues, prioritizing improvement projects.

Design, test and deliver Takt Time reduction activities in line with the delivery plan.

Maintain high safety standards and work with the HSE department to report incidents and manage risks out of the process.

Be aware of Non-Conforming process or products and implement corrective actions.

Apply Lean tools to processes.
Requirements
Qualifications and work experience
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience of production/process engineering in a manufacturing environment.

Appropriate engineering degree, preferably at Masters level. May be mechanical, materials or production based.

Six sigma experience (minimum Green Belt).
Competencies
The candidate should master strong communication skills with fluent English (written and oral) and be comfortable communicating to all levels in the organisation. Able to design, run and evaluate trials and prepare the appropriate technical reports.
It is inevitable to be a team player and one must comprehend working in line- and matrix organizations Understanding of safety and quality processes and reporting.
Additionally the candidate should be able to use Microsoft Office more specifically Excel. Lastly, the attention to detail is essential.
