Opportunity for a Procurement Buyer to join Honeywell in Katowice during this exciting time of expansion for our business. As a member of the Procurement team, you be responsible for managing operational activities for indirect spend and delivering productivity for sites that you will be dedicated to. That is an amazing chance for candidates who are willing to use negotiating and analytic skills on a daily basis.
The Role / Core responsibilities:
- Place purchase orders and manage changes to existing purchase orders
- Deal with invoice discrepancies in collaboration with the business stakeholders, supplier and Accounts Payable team
- Engage in stakeholder & customer communication aiming to improve understanding of indirect procurement processes and tools
- Check and validate expedited payment requests in accordance to current indirect procurement best practices
- Actively participate in AWPOT & MPO improvement activities (payment terms update at PO/Invoice and VC level)
- Drives implementation of automation opportunities for the assigned sites (new catalogs and value contracts)
- Create and apply strategically the Category Cards for the supported sites/countries
- Maintain a strong communication with suppliers to implement new deals and identify new saving opportunities
- Conducts eAuctions for goods and services, ensuring best value offering to business

We’re looking for
- Business fluent in written and spoken English (another language is a plus)
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a purchasing/procurement environment
- Technical skills of SAP purchasing system
- Planning, negotiations and agreements/contract management experience
- Good Microsoft Office skills
