Plant Systems Engineer (Site and Facility)

- assist in the adaptation of ITER generic site layout to Cadarache Site-specific configurations- supervise CAD designers to prepare general arrangements drawings and building systems layouts for non-nuclear buildings and site services, suitable for construction contracts.- assist in the preparation of technical specifications and associated drawings for construction of these Cadarache site facilities- assist in developing project construction and installation schedules of Site Layout and Infrastructure

Wymagania

- university degree in engineering necessary; advanced degree advantageous- nationally recognized Professional Engineers license is an asset- at least 10 years work experience since graduating; with at least three years in project management roles associated with construction of large complex energy production or chemical processing facilities- good communication skills- able to develop and maintain effective international contacts in mechanical engineering discipline- knowledge of the design of tokamak fusion machine systems would be an advantage- excellent written and spoken English is essential; French an asset; German and/or Japanese would be an advantage- ability to effectively perform tasks in multicultural environment, covering international energy projects is essential- aptitude for team working essential- good problem-solving skills and judgment- able to perform duties autonomously, with speed and accuracy, according to agreed budgets and schedules- able to respond effectively under pressure
