As Payroll Supervisor you will be responsible for:
- Supervise payroll team, Overseeing the payroll processing, ensuring payroll is processed accurately and timely.
- Ensures compliance with payroll laws and regulations.
- Audit and approve payrolls.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, relevant to payroll requirements and internal controls.
- Communicate with internal customers to assist in resolving issues or questions.
- Partner with cross functional teams, HR, Benefits, IT and Finance to provide support as required.
- Provide payroll reporting as needed.
- Execute year end processing requirements as needed.
- Perform other country specific reconciliations and reporting such as Workers, Compensation (Canada).
- Must maintain confidentiality and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance
- Fluency in English, verbal and written
- 5+ years of global payroll experience, with companies having 1,000+ employees
- Intermediate to Advanced software skill and experience with Microsoft Excel, including pivots, lookups, filtering and sorting Basic proficiency and experience with Microsoft Word, Power Point and Visio.
- Ability to work under stressful conditions and meet deadlines required.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Practical knowledge of payroll processing, general payroll policy, government regulation and tax requirements.
- Strong leadership skills
- Willingness to work late shifts – Monday-Friday 14.00 – 22.00
