Job description
The Change Management Lead focuses on guiding clients’ leadership through the understanding and implementation of organizational and operational change during transition. The Change Management Lead will work with client leadership to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and greater proficiency of the changes throughout the organization to increase benefit realization, value creation, Return on Investment (ROI) and the achievement of results and outcomes.
Position purpose
The Change Management Lead will manage and facilitate the clients’ transition through organizational and operational changes to include mergers, acquisitions, downsizing, or a major shift in the company’s structure and hierarchy. The Change Management Lead will consult and coach senior leadership and executives navigating them to fulfill the role of change sponsor and champion.
Main accountabilities
- Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan.
- Support and engage senior leadership
- Stakeholder Management
- Successful delivery of Change Management procedures and methodologies
- Negotiate and assist with coordination and implementation of change within the business to minimize risks, reduce disruptions and costs of doing business
- Promote the process across the enterprise
- Identify training needs and develop CM training plans
- Define change system approval work flows
- Monitor compliance to the change management process
- Business Impact Assessment & transition planning
- Monitor and report on the status of changes
- Identify and manage scheduling conflicts
- Develop and implement CM project plan
Candidate’s profile
- Experience in project management, change management, transitions, human resources or a related fields
- Strong business knowledge and experience with organizational transitions, restructuring, and a variety of project management strategies.
- Ability to work with a variety of groups of people and change roles frequently and adapt to new situations.
- A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
- Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
- Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts.
- Familiar with PROSCI Change Management methodology
- Coaching certification
