Job description
As the representative for Webanywhere in Poland, reporting directly to the CEO in UK this role has the responsibility to oversee, handle daily business issues, manage finances, recruitment, pending and ongoing IT projects and recognize business opportunities. The position base on communication and negotiations with clients to preserve or improve the company’s procedures, standards or policies while adhering to business ethics and regulatory guidelines.
Working closely with colleagues located either in the UK or Poland to resolve contractual and commercial problems ensuring regulation practices, financial aspects and impact of a contract are clear to all parties. Ensuring that all stakeholders, such as administration, operations, legal and finance understand and adhere to contractual obligations; reflecting them accurately
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures; reviewing payroll; controlling correspondence; designing filing systems; reviewing and approving supply requisitions; assigning and monitoring clerical functions.
- Full accountability for all company operations in Poland and keeps CEO informed by preparing, reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends.
- Works closely with UK Financial Controller to achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Builds and maintains effective management team relationships with peers in Poland and UK.
- Increases management's effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining managers;
- Coordinates efforts by establishing procurement, production, marketing, field, and technical services policies and practices; coordinating actions with corporate staff.
- Builds company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees; enforcing ethical business practices.
- Maintains and presents true and fair reports to statutory bodies and ensures compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Working closely with Project Managers and Portfolio Managers for both UK and Polish sides to ensure projects realization.
Requirements
- Prior experience in day to day assignments in SME Business
- Demonstrate understanding and interpretation in legal, financial and labor law requirements
- Powerful analytic mind, processing information coming from different fields.
- Great awareness of how market dynamics, company cost and profit drivers, company operations and decision making affects the long-term operation of the business;
- Self starter: plans and organizes own work, work according to known and unknown challenging deadlines;
- Excellent communication, negotiation and delegation skills
- Excellent level of English, spoken and written, is required for this position
- Excellent organizational and project management skills;
- Experience of working in a subsidiary of a UK business will be an asset
