ITER (www.iter.org) is an international project involving the European Union, Japan, South Korea, China, Russia, and the United States aiming at showing that fusion could be used to generate electrical power, and gaining the necessary data to design and operate the first electricity-producing plant. The development is taking place under the auspices of the United Nations' International Atomic Energy Agency.Cadarache (France) - the construction site of ITER fusion device - currently hosts the world's largest superconducting fusion experiment Tore-Supra at the CEA Cadarache Research Centre, one of the biggest civil nuclear research centers in Europe.

Opis stanowiska
- senior engineer to develop and coordinate with Parties interfaces of Test Blanket Modules with ITER tokamak, building and services- design and supervise procurement of necessary “missed links”- work especially on standardization of the TBM interfacesWymagania
- education: PhD in Nuclear Engineering plus strong basis in mechanical engineering or knowledge and experience at the equivalent level- at least 10 years of experience in design /development/ testing of nuclear components- proven ability to design nuclear component (necessary) - familiarity with nuclear regulations and standards (an asset)- familiarity with remote handling technologies and water/ helium cooling technologies/ tritium technologies (an asset)- personal Skills: Friendliness, flexibility, desire not to create but to solve problems (this is a customer service)- managerial skills: ability to interact with different national groups and different groups inside the project- fluency in English is essential.Prosimy o dopisanie klauzuli: Wyrażam zgodę na przetwarzanie moich danych osobowych dla potrzeb niezbędnych w procesie rekrutacji.
