Our renowned house brands include Thor, ICON, Moose, and Drag Specialties. For our European headquarter in Wasserliesch/Germany near the border of Luxemburg we are looking for a:
- Configure, develop, and implement Microsoft Dynamics NAV software and components in all functional areas
- Create new and modify existing customizations as requested by internal customers
- Perform data conversions, debug system problems and craft resolutions
- Install and implement service packs and hot fixes as needed
- Contribute to end-user training including development of system documentation and training materials; provide pre-go-live and post-go-live end user support
- Take responsibility for the customized unit programming and overall system functionality
- Work with the Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Software Testers to understand the business / application requirements and assist in functional specification of customizations required for NAV implementations
- Deliver code customizations with proper documentation
- Professional certification and accreditation strongly recommended or equivalent work experience
- Microsoft Dynamics NAV certification(s) or certifications in a related discipline a plus
- 2 or more years of experience as a software developer specifically working with the Dynamics NAV C/SIDE C/AL development language
- Role Tailored Client (RTC) development experience (including page and report development in Visual Studio)
- SQL experience and Web Development programming experience a plus
- Experience working with common third party add-on solutions and their integration with Dynamics NAV and prior Dynamics NAV upgrade and data migration experience highly desired
- Ability to translate customer business requirements and specifications into code solutions
- Fluency in English – both written and verbal
