Opis stanowiska

  • Ensure compliance with the environmental, fire protection and occupational health & safety regulations.
  • Induction and instruction of contractors before they begin work, and coordination of their activities.
  • Monitoring and managing contractors to ensure conformity to schedule, compliance with specifications, fulfillment of contractual stipulations, observance of site rules & regulations, permit-to-work procedures, clarification and completion of any outstanding items (List of Open Points) and review of Method Statements.
  • Providing and developing solutions to technical issues on site with the support of the respective engineering responsible
  • Acceptance inspection/testing and takeover of contractor supplies & services and handover to customer/owner; Performance of joint inspections with the customer/owner and (sub)suppliers to identify unresolved residual issues; coordination and agreement of solutions for eliminating deficiencies;
  • Checking of field erection documentation, including "as-built" documentation for correctness of content and completeness.
  • Reporting on progress of field erection work, keeping a daily log of erection works.
  • Providing assistance for claims management; reporting any contractual deviations (non-conformances) to the Contract Manager, and providing support in the preparation of outgoing claims and defense against incoming claims (site daily log).
  • Time schedule tracking (expediting) and updating of Level 3 time scheduling. Controlling erection progress by way of comparative TARGET-vs.-ACTUAL analyses. Initiation of acceleration measures where needed.
  • Technical interfacing with the commissioning process with the aim of handing over plant sections and components completely, on time and in accordance with specifications from the construction/erection phase to the commissioning phase.

Wymagania

  • Master Degree in Mechanicals
  • Very good Polish and English language skills (spoken and written)
  • Knowledge of international Health and Safety Standards,
  • Min. 5 years of experience in managing mechanical construction works on big industrial construction sites,
  • Knowledge of power plant technology is desired,
  • Knowledge of respective international codes/standards as well as of welding procedures and quality standards,
  • Valid passport and driving license,
  • Willingness to dedicate at least 2-years to field assignments.
