ITER (www.iter.org) is an international project involving the European Union, Japan, South Korea, China, Russia, and the United States aiming at showing that fusion could be used to generate electrical power, and gaining the necessary data to design and operate the first electricity-producing plant. The development is taking place under the auspices of the United Nations' International Atomic Energy Agency.Cadarache (France) - the construction site of ITER fusion device - currently hosts the world's largest superconducting fusion experiment Tore-Supra at the CEA Cadarache Research Centre, one of the biggest civil nuclear research centers in Europe.

Opis stanowiska
- manage the development of top level drawings and machine assembly models of the tokamak assembly- define and monitor the major interfaces among the tokamak systems- define detail technical assembly and installation requirements for the Tokamak- review the fabrication and assembly procedure and assess the adequacy of clearances between components- collaborate with the systems RO and assembly manager to oversee the development of overall assembly plans including schedules, resources, tooling and equipment needs, lay down space, etc of the procurement schedule- provide technical oversight during the construction phase of the Tokamak Basic Machine- working with the building construction and assembly manager, help resolve conflicts and assure the final machine configuration is consistent with all requirements- document and control changes to assembly and installation plans and procedures during constructionWymagania
- degree in mechanical engineering or related technical field- work experience: 10 years experience in managing design and construction of developmental mechanical systems- previous experience in the construction and installation of large component similar to the tokamak core component (such as vacuum vessel and magnet), or project of similar complexity- deep knowledge of the design, assembly and layout of the ITER tokamak components is highly desirable- very good knowledge of English- good organisational ability and excellent written and verbal communications skillsProsimy o dopisanie klauzuli: Wyrażam zgodę na przetwarzanie moich danych osobowych dla potrzeb niezbędnych w procesie rekrutacji.
