Dalkia Enerji Turkey signed an Operations and Maintenance Contract of 10 years for a thermal Power plant in Zonguldak in Turkey. The Power plant is a coal fired power plant, with CFB boiler and has a 160 MW capacity - about 95 employees working on the plant.
Dalkia Enerji is also involved in similar projects throughout Turkey.

Key Responsibilities:
The Mechanical Boiler and Auxiliaries Engineer monitors and controls boiler and auxiliaries to ensure that mechanical systems are working efficiently and meet safety and other standards requirements.
His duties include:
- ensuring that all operations and maintenance activities are performed effectively and safely in accordance to Original Manufacturer Manuals (OMM) and Dalkia procedures
- planning and coordinating all maintenance works (daily, preventive and long term maintenance, spare parts and materials)
- giving technical and engineering support to Operations and Maintenance department by coordinating and updating technical documentation, procedures and instructions
- making all necessary investigations to assure plant improvement, assets managements and required modifications
- coordinating and developing of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- keeping the technical information actual in database, preparing work statistics
The Engineer reports to the Technical Manager of the plant.
Candidate Profile:
- Mechanical Engineer with at least 6 years of working experience in a power plant industry or similar industry experience with 3 years working on boiler (preferable CFB boiler) maintenance or operation supervisory level
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of steam coal power plant or similar plant
- In depth knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety standards, regulation and practices
- Knowledge of maintenance plan
- Familiar with business process computer application and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) applications
- Skills in trouble shooting
- Operational English Level (French is a plus)
