- qualificatons to degree level in an engineering discipline - knowledge of the way large generator is designed- technically competent and able to offer solutions to solve design problems - commercially aware and customer focused - computer literate and possesing good communication skills- being membership of a professional Institute and supervisory experience will be an advantage
