Mechanical DESIGN ENGINEER

Opis stanowiska

We require Design Engineer to join Technical Support Department to prepare and develop technical proposals, design and costing of projects for manufacturing landfill gas flares and auxiliary equipment (burners, flare stacks, metalwork, gas pipework in metal and plastics, instrumentation, fieldworks, some simple civil works). Some projects may involve research & development elements.

The position requires:

• solid background of mechanical engineering and process control;
• well developed design skills;
• ability to liaise with customers and suppliers;
• from time to time site surveys;
• interpretation skills of customer and/or sales persons briefs;
• familiarity with ISO 9001:2008 system (training will be provided);
• knowledge of relevant European and international standards (including but limited to ATEX, pressure, machinery directive, pipework) in order to ensure compliance of the plants
• ability to travel;
• project management skills;
• flexibility, as support for other departments may be necessary as and when required
• ability to deliver projects to strict deadlines and within agreed budgets
• co-operation with other departments, contractors and customers.

Wymagania

The ideal candidate should:

• be self-motivated and able to work on his/her own initiative;
• be able to work independently to tight deadlines;
• be experienced in design activities
• possess a full EU or UK driving licence;
• be willing to travel;
• possess solid computer / internet skills ( must have AutoCAD, MS Office);
• very good working knowledge of English

Oferujemy

The salary and the package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

An initial training in accordance to agreed individual training programme will be provided. This position is for limited time only (to be agreed) with an open option to transfer back the employee to Poland to continue work in our office in Warsaw.
