Job description
You are responsible for the control and management of all materials from arrival at site to handover to erection / commissioning or other parties.
Tasks
- Lead a team for materials management on site including participants and erection subcontractors.
- Utilization of the TLA-Satellite tool including training for others as required.
- Coordination of all participants’ materials.
- Implement procedures for shipping.
- Establish systems and implement procedure for receipt of materials at site, storage and release of material to erection sub-contractors.
- Establish and implement stores control procedures in discussion with erection sub-contractors.
- Establish material schedule and interface.
- Establish stock control procedures and procedures to address material shortages.
- Establish and implement preservation procedures.
- Establish procedures for storage and subsequent handover of commissioning / contract / maintenance spare parts.
- Maintain and manage of the on-site materials in cooperation with the project expediting office.
- Register and record the materials on site.
- Accept, stock and forward all arriving material to field assembly in cooperation with the concerned Construction Manager and in accordance with the pertaining handling instructions.
Job requirements
- University degree (comparable with bachelor / master)
- Appropriate experience in power plant construction and engineering
- Appropriate experience in management functions
- Good proficiency in English
- Skills in other foreign languages is useful
