Overview:
This newly created position will provide creative and administrative support for marketing communications initiatives, working with both traditional and digital channels. The candidate should have at least a basic knowledge of marketing communications and have experience working with creative software packages, such as InDesign and also Microsoft PowerPoint.
This position would be ideally suited to someone looking for a role within a global organization, someone who is eager to learn and keen to work on multiple and varying requests.
Main responsibilities:
- Development of Marketing and Communication materials, etc. within Getinge Corporate Design Guidelines based on task assignment and priorities.
- Manage internal online databases of files and collateral to ensure we maintain up-to-date and consistent records.
- Working closely with sales, business areas and marketing, managing the translation of marketing material using internal systems and processes in place.
- Create PowerPoint presentations for Senior Executives.
- Support Director Communications and Congress Management EMEA with adhoc administrative project requests (for example: customer databases, intranet analytics)
- Provide full support to Marketing Communications Manager during holiday periods.
- Excellent writing and verbal English communication skills is a must.
- Basic working knowledge, experience and skills of Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Advanced knowledge and experience of working with Microsoft PowerPoint
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software - Excel and Word
- Be proactive with ideas and creative solutions
- Meet deadlines under pressure
- Ability to work independently at times but within a ‘remote’ team
- Open-minded and innovative with a high level of energy and motivation
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a rapidly changing environment
- Attention to detail is a necessity
- This position will report to the Director Communications and Congress Management, within the EMEA Marketing & Academy organization.
