ABOUT THE CUSTOMER
The Client is an international media concern. It operates in 41 markets in 37 countries with 150 recording rooms and 85 mixing rooms. Established in May 2006 in Poland. The company, which has four recording studios, provides services in the field of recording Polish dubbing versions (mainly for films and series, less often for computer games) and whispering. Her clients include The Walt Disney Company Polska, Warner Bros. and HBO.
We are currently working completely remotely, ultimately we will continue working remotely with every two weekly meetings in the office for the planning period.
JOB OVERVIEW
- Provide user application testing for internal applications.
- Provide support to users during initial roll-out period.
- Manage communication with application users and team.
- Produce documentation material such as manuals, reports.
- Log events during roll-out & training phases.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Qualification in Software Testing desirable.
- Experience in broadcasting, foreign language localization and working with scripts desirable.
- Excellent general computer skills.
- Knowledge of an architecture of web based applications.
- Basic coding/scripting skills.
- Experience with or interest in film/Entertainment/Software development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Distribute 90% of work time into testing and 10% on support.
- Perform manual tests of current tasks.
- Working with JIRA project management software.
- Help creating test documentation and scenarios for use by other Testers and Application Support.
- Must provide a written status report on testing progress at the end of each week.
- Must be able to communicate with end-users for training, debugging sessions and feature requests gathering.
- Tester will have direct and unrestricted access to Developers.
- Tester must be able to communicate in Polish and English language.
