Maintenance Cost Engineer

- collect and analyze gas turbine hardware reliability, durability and repair fall out data- perform statistical studies, generate Weibull curves, and validate the results- develops maintenance cost models for engine overhaul and repair services, incorporating time in use and cost per shop visit analysis- perform sensitivity analysis to identify key drivers for the engine shop visits and services- deliverables include creating and updating Weibulls for maintenance cost models to support new deals and existing contract margin reviews- demonstrate ownership and provides timely communications on significant issues or developments- participate on teams assigned to address organizational initiatives and generic issues

Wymagania

- Bachelors of Science in Engineering or equivalent experience. Additional degree or experience in Business is a plus- 3+ years of experience in a technical engineering field. Hardware experience is desired- familiar with operation principles and components of turbo-machinery: aircraft engines or gas turbines- fundamental understanding of financial measurement tools and knowledge of maintenance cost- good reasoning, statistical and analytical skills- strong (English) oral / written communication skills and PC proficiency - computer aided modeling skills Weibull++ experience preferred- ability to work independently and in a team environment
