Language Quality Lead

Scope of Responsibilities:
- Support management of linguistic quality and quality processes in a large localization program;
- Enable and manage quality performance for assigned languages and ensure quality meets the differentiated customer needs;
- Monitoring the results of the translation providers, function as a coach to key linguist contributors;
- Collaborate with Quality Managers and Language Excellence Manager in the deployment of quality-related processes in the localization program and all areas and processes related to language quality;
- Consult Quality Managers on resourcing needs for the assigned languages;
- Utilize a deep data driven approach to assess quality of translation services and analyze quality drivers with the support from Quality Manager / Language Excellence Manager;
- Create internal and customer reports;
- Design and deploy language quality improvement plans in the localization program;
- Perform miscellaneous tasks required to ensure projects as instructed by QM/LEM, including temporary backup of responsibilities specified for other positions in the localization department.
Requirements:
- A degree in linguistics or management studies;
- Experience as a Language Lead, Project Coordinator or in general localization and translation industry will be an asset;
- Fluent in English and one other language with passion about language quality;
- Proficiency in industry-standard software;
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills;
- Advanced use of Excel.
