The team you'll be part of
Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).
Radio Access Networks Productization department is responsible for quality assurance of mobile telephony base stations operating parallelly in 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G technologies. Thanks to the innovative solution, it is possible to achieve full scalability of the operator network in the scope of the used technology. Productization teams are fully accountable for product continuous system verification and Customer Specific Verification of base station products across multiple radio access technologies.
What you will learn and contribute to
On daily basis, you will be a part of software development team and your responsibility will cover.
- Support of laboratory hardware ordering process (both with internal and external vendors)
- Test Environment setup in Nokia Labs
- Support of MN RAN programs with Nokia Radio Access Network Equipment
- You will be working in tasks oriented projects
Your skills and experience
You have:
- Student status. Student on 3rd or 4th year of Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or equivalent technical education
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of office applications
- Fluent English
It would be nice if you also had:
- Ability to use tools (like screwdriver) and manual skills
- Out of the box thinking
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Ability to communicate and co-operate with other people in various situations
