Procurement Shared Services Center (PSSC) based in Łódź, Poland, is part of global Philips Procurement. Under the umbrella of Royal Philips, Philips Procurementmanages and performs sourcing and procurement activities for (indirect) goods and services for Philips.
PSSC acts on behalf of the Philips businesses, handling every step in the purchasing process – from demand analysis to final delivery. PSSC delivers value added services by leveraging economies of scale, globalizing processes and simplifying the ways of working, while delivering superior purchasing experiences by listening and acting on our customers’ feedback.
Your challenge:

Europe, the Middle East and Africa ATL Advertising, Design, Sponsorship &, Media Global Commodity support acting as member of and supporting the marketing area purchasing keeping relations with suppliers and stakeholders, providing tactical and operational support like supplier analysis, RFI, RFQ, operational issues resolution, Payment Terms, cost analysis etc.

Acting as a liaison between global procurement team and local businesses (managing internal and external communication)

Supporting the development of strategy, documents running analysis and searching benchmark information, supporting implementation of commodity strategies and performing end to end purchasing cycle for ATL on demand, face to face contact with suppliers

Driving recommendations and improvement proposals submissions to optimize effectiveness and operational excellence

Participate in the development & deployment of the overall Philips Purchasing policy

Achieve maximum performance (leverage) by actively using the sourcing network, respectively by bringing local requirements into the Clusters and/or Commodity/Market Teams

Master costing and standardization of activities and way of working with sectors, stakeholders and Audit Companies

Spend compliance and savings project management (including savings reporting)

Scope expansion through higher level of tactical sourcing activities
Your key responsibilities:

Manage activities within a team and/or team, plans activities, determines division of work and controls quality

Establish/manage the alignment between the global team and the PSSC in Łodź
-
Manage/driving operational excellence proactively reach out to the procurement community to make sure the procurement basics are at a high standard

Identifies improvement opportunities and translates these as specific project (incl. sourcing projects)

Analyzes available reports to provide recommendations within the procurement scope

Manages spend independently (including savings identification and execution, contract preparation and maintenance)

Leads/actively supports definition and deployment of Commodity Strategy Development (CSD)

Participating in and leading purchasing projects (e.g. participating in tender preparation and execution, participation in e Sourcing project, by process and content analysis)

Implement in cooperation with customers on sites global/national/regional commodity contracts that provide sourcing solutions at the lowest total cost

Analyzing supplier proposals, negotiating and closing contracts

Contract preparation and maintenance; providing recommendations to management

Managing and monitoring supplier performance internal satisfaction surveys
We are looking for people with:·
- Graduate with Bachelor or master degree
- Fluent English is a must (both orally and in writing)
- Minimum 4 years’ experience within procurement marketing area
- Minimum 2 years’ of professional experience in managing and leading the team
- Procurement experience and expertise (incl. Cluster and market knowledge) is required
- Advanced Project Management skills/experience required (e.g. Prince2)
