As a Junior Application Support Specialist you will be responsible for delivering professional assistance to Capita employees facing technical problems. You will have the opportunity to work independently and use your initiative to resolve different types of issues. You will also perform system administration duties and test system changes and upgrades.
In this role you will have direct contact with new technologies on a daily basis. It is also a unique opportunity to gain experience in SAP. What is important, we will provide you with solid training from the very beginning. The role under discussion gives numerous opportunities for progression within the field for people interested in new technologies.
- First line application support for our internal customers
- Performing system administration tasks
- Solving more complex issues related to our customers’ queries
- Coordination of activities between different resolution teams
- Timely and accurate resolution of cases in scope, compliant to ITIL best practices
- Have very good communication skills in English (both spoken and written)
- Have confident and polite telephone manner
- Have good analytical problem solving skills
- Have the ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload
- Have ability to empathise with the customer
- Are familiar with Microsoft Office applications
- Are well organised team player
- Are flexible and willing to travel occasionally
- Have basic knowledge of SAP (considered an asset)
- Are able to work an 8 hour shift within GB Calendar and 9:00 - 19:00
