You will be responsible for:
- Providing first line technical support of SAP applications within the SAP EMEA Supply Chain support scope
- Representing IT SAP EMEA to IT Application Services and interacting with operational and supervisory personnel within the Application Services
- Understanding the benefits that supported software applications can bring to the enterprise
- Supporting ITSS innovation projects, process redesign and strategy aiming at continuous improvement
- Building business acumen - as a part of the development process learn how the business and business processes operate to better solve problems and define systematic solutions
- Building expertise within assigned applications support scope - gaining specialist knowledge of technology and software that helps in problem solving and problem prevention
- Executing production support and monitoring activities during working hours and during on call
- Developing functional skills to quickly identify relevant support documentation
- Cooperation with SAP EMEA team members and US Application Services teams to solve problems
- System testing – support system testing during technical releases
- Supporting knowledge sharing culture
- Focusing on support documentation review and improvement
- General knowledge of business process mapping, data modeling and / or knowledge of technologies supporting the business
- Ability to focus on continuous process improvement
- Ability to actively listen and ask insightful and detailed questions
- Ability to negotiate between business and information technology
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate and collaborate with all levels of our organization
- Strong business acumen
- Ability to work in a team
- Fluent English
- A university degree in Information Technology or Business
- Experience in Business Analysis and/or Project Management roles will be an asset
- Experience in Lean Six Sigma projects will be an asset
