HR Services Team Lead
Responsibility Summary:The HR Services Team Lead will be responsible for the management of a team of approximately 10 HR Services Specialists, Senior Specialists and HR Talent Management Specialists who perform key HR Services and Talent Management processes. The HR Services Team Lead will ensure the delivery and lead the team to deliver customer focused service meeting SLAs and promoting continuous improvement to meet the priorities of the business. Continual monitoring of quality and performance, and taking necessary steps either by balancing resources or driving process improvement, are central to the role.
Key Accountabilities:
Team management:
- Developing goals and objectives with direct reports and providing appropriate follow-up.
- Conducting monthly check-in’s (1:1) with each direct report to discuss performance, development, etc.
- Completing performance reviews in a timely manner.
- Supervising work allocation, readjusting priorities as necessary to meet business needs.
Providing recommendation on resource requirements to leadership for approval HR Processes management and improvement:
Managing processes of HR transactions, incl. i.a.:
- HR administration (new joiners, leavers, personal data changes, promotions, internal transfers, employment conditions changes)
- Compensation (Labour Market Surveys, Pay Programs Design & Deployment, Job evaluation, upload mass data changes in WD, annual salary increase process, bonus payment, advice on policies & procedures) - Learning & development (manage contents of online learning system, manage classroom training logistics, advice on policies & procedures)
- Performance & career planning (support annual talent review process, succession planning process, annual performance review process, goals setting process, advice on policies & procedures)
- Talent acquisition (sourcing, screening, initial candidates’ evaluation)
- Workday/LM system data/metrics analysis & reporting for above areas
- Continuously working on identifying process optimization opportunities; driving and actively contributing to implementation.
- Implementation of best practices to gain efficiency and drive productivity gains.
- Conducting internal control over HR transactions, including SLA and KPI reporting.
- Developing and implementing new procedures as necessary to ensure consistent service delivery, communicating the changes and training team members as appropriate.
- Support in aligning existing processes to relevant legislation changes; ensuring procedures are up-to-date and team members are updated on changes
- Identify, recommend and agree appropriate solutions with the HR Process Lead that will support improvement in costs, service or employee satisfaction.
- Addressing and resolving complex problems that are escalated from team members
Critical Skills/Knowledge:
- Shows customer, service mind-set and a proactive way of working to service the customers in a “can do” attitude
- Experience in HR Shared Services/BPO/GBS for a global company; experience in a multinational environment/company preferred.
- Process Improvement Experience, Lean Six Sigma Qualification is an asset
- Experience working in HR systems (Workday experience is an asset) and strong working knowledge of MS Office
- Experience using Case Management software
- Excellent communication skills, ability to cooperate in international, matrix organization and consumer oriented attitude
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- HR administration experience/awareness of HR policies and procedures
- Analytical capability to analyze, interpret data and provide insight
- 5 years of experience in an HR function
- 3 years of experience managing others
- Very good knowledge of English (B2 or higher, C1 preferred)
- Completed degree in higher education (BA)
