The HR Professional - Global Mobility Services, reporting intothe HR Manager - Global Mobility Services will provide support related to the Firm's Extended Business Travel (EBT) program and immigration support for employees located in non-US offices. This person will also support GMS in connection with dashboard reporting, vendor invoices processing, assignment documentation management, and other associated GMS program administration.
Responsibilties:
1. Extended Business Travel:
Ensure policy compliance and mitigate Firm risk in connection with visa and immigration requirements, labor law requirements, tax authorization, health care, etc.
2. Immigration support:
Provide immigration support for employees located in non-US offices Provide HR, line managers and employees with information about non-US immigration laws and procedures. Liaise with immigration attorneys to prepare non-US immigration petitions for temporary work visas, visa extensions and permanent residence applications and to ensure the timely processing of required paperwork. Ensure employee immigration records are maintained and retained
3. GMS Dashboard Reporting
Design, implement and manage quarterly GMS metrics related to program costs (budget vs. actual), global assignment, volume, and other pertinent data points.
4. Assignee Invoicing
Facilitate external vendor invoice processing for tax and compensation consultant, immigration counsel, global relocation vendor and other vendors engaged to support GMS.
5. GMS documentation
General responsibility for policy document updates, assignment letter templates, assignee folder maintenance, etc
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in expatriate, immigration and relocation management or related disciplines
- Bachelors degree in HR, business or finance preferredExperience in the financial services industry preferred
- Experience working with relocation vendors
- Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines
- Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Access
- Ability to effectively interact with team members and colleagues
- Demonstrated understanding relocation and immigration of international assignees and employees
- Knowledge of international cost of living allowances and best practices
- Ability to work independently
